Mission and Distinctives
Mission
Together with parents, Wing Classical Academy nourishes the souls and minds of our students through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and classical principles. Through rigorous study, our students grow to serve their communities and country with humility, integrity, and moral courage - glorifying God in every endeavor.
Vision
We envision a generation of students shaped by wisdom and virtue through a content-rich classical Christian education. Our school is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of the world, rooted in the richness of Western culture and our Judeo-Christian heritage. Within a nurturing community that cherishes the True, the Good, and the Beautiful, we cultivate the mind, body, and spirit of each student - equipping them with the habits and skills for a life of purpose and depth. We aim to prepare students to discern their calling and engage the world with clarity, conviction, and grace.
Core Values
We Seek Lives of Virtue and Character
Our community is guided by the seven Heavenly Virtues: Prudence, Justice, Temperance, Fortitude, Faith, Hope, and Love
We strive to reflect these virtues in our conduct, demonstrating: honor, obedience, diligence, kindness, self-control, orderliness, attentiveness, initiative, and responsibility.
Our Students Act with Honor
Our students conduct themselves according to our Honor Code:
A Wing Classical Academy student acts with honor, humility, generosity, and integrity; is diligent and responsible in study and service; and shows respect and compassion for others. Through education the student rises to self-government.
We Purposefully Partner with Parents
Scripture commands parents to oversee the education of their children. We see ourselves as partners - complementing parents’ efforts and serving as trusted stewards in cultivating both moral and intellectual virtue.
We are Purposefully Privately Funded
Remaining independent of external mandates and conditions is essential to our mission. As a privately funded school, we accept no government funding—ensuring that our decisions are guided by our convictions and the best interests of our students and community.
